News From the LocSec

Greetings and Felicitations

Isaac L. Kullman, Regional Vice Chairman of American Mensa Region 5, has appointed me as the LocSec of Wiregrass Mensa (Region 5, Group 360). My primary task as LocSec at this time is to hold elections by the first week of June 2003 for LocSec, Editor and Treasurer so that the people elected can be installed as Wiregrass Mensa Officers by July 2003.

Currently, I am LocSec and since I will be managing the election process, I can not run for the office. Joey Shelley is currently Editor of our newsletter and can run for the same office or any other office. Bob Akin is currently Treasurer and can run for the same office or any other office.

Meetings began on Wednesday, April 2, 2003, and will be held every two weeks after that until elections have occurred (see schedule on the home page).

Please feel free to suggest alternative locations, days and times for meetings. This is especially true of members outside the Montgomery area. Contact me at wiregrasslocsec@yahoo.com with any suggestions, comments or anything relating to Mensa.
